CHATGPT PIXEL HELPER BY ADVARDE
Manual installation in desktop Google Chrome

1. EXTRACT THE ZIP
Mac: double-click the ZIP. Windows: right-click it and choose Extract All.
Keep the "chatgpt pixel helper" folder somewhere permanent, such as Documents.
Chrome needs the extracted files to remain there while the helper is installed.

2. OPEN CHROME'S EXTENSIONS PAGE
Paste this address into Chrome's address bar and press Enter:
   chrome://extensions

3. ENABLE DEVELOPER MODE
Turn on the Developer mode switch in the top-right corner.
Screenshot: guide/chrome-extensions.png (Developer mode is outlined in green).

4. LOAD THE FOLDER
Click Load unpacked. Select the "chatgpt pixel helper" folder that contains
manifest.json and popup.html. Select the folder, not the ZIP.
"ChatGPT Pixel Helper by Advarde" will appear in your extensions.
The same screenshot outlines Load unpacked in orange.

5. PIN AND OPEN THE HELPER
Open the puzzle-piece Extensions menu in Chrome's toolbar and pin the helper.
Screenshot: guide/chrome-pin-extension.png (the pin is circled in green).
Visit the website you want to inspect, then click ChatGPT Pixel Helper.
Perform a test action on the website. Reopen the popup to see observed calls.
Use Export JSON to save observations locally, Clear calls to clear the list,
or Stop to end inspection. After reloading the website, click the helper again.

UPDATES
Updates are manual. Download and extract the latest ZIP, replace the files in the
same extension folder, then open chrome://extensions and click Reload on the
helper. Reload your website and reopen the helper.

REMOVAL
Open chrome://extensions, find ChatGPT Pixel Helper by Advarde, and click Remove.
Reload any website tabs you inspected to end their observation sessions.
You can then delete the extracted extension folder.

IF CHROME CANNOT FIND MANIFEST.JSON
Extract the ZIP first. Select the folder that contains manifest.json directly.
If the extracted download contains another folder, open it to find those files.

WHAT THE RESULTS MEAN
Observed calls do not confirm that OpenAI received or attributed a conversion.
Unknown consent means the helper has not observed a consent call. Inspection is
limited to the main frame of normal HTTP/HTTPS pages. No observations are sent
to Advarde; the helper does not retain customer fields or event payloads.

This download uses Chrome's manual Load unpacked installation. No Google
developer account or Chrome Web Store registration is needed.
